Chiranjeevi the newly inducted Tourism minister of the Union Government will inaugurate the prestigious world famous Hampi Utsav in December 2012. This is the festival where culture meets history.Hampi Utsav is a three days event that gathers attention at the world level. Mega star Chiranjeevi Union Minister of Tourism will be specially invited and honored on this occasion disclosed Karnataka Tourism Minister Anand Singh.Hampi Utsav goes back to the times of the Vijayanagar reign. The festival aims at attracting people from across the globe to this artistic land of Hampi. The banks of Tungabhadra river dazzles like a bride. The entire scenario looks magical as the rich culture of Kannadigas in various fields of dance; music and art are wonderfully displayed.
The traditional craftsmen display their skills in the festival. Bright colored handicrafts, light show, leather puppets, folk songs, musical instruments, decorated elephants roll back time and offer the visitors an opportunity to view the grandeur of Golden Era.

RamCharan & Mahesh babu neck to neck bussiness

Prince Mahesh babu most awaited film SVSC & Megapower Star RamCharan's NAYAK. both the movies are doing excellent neck to neck pre-release business. Both the movie Krishna district rights have been sold for a fancy amounts.Shakthi Pictures of vijayawada has bought the Krishna area rights of both these movies for a record price about Rs. 2.70 Crores each. It has invested Rs.5.40 crore for both the films . They are in a view that if one film doesn’t do well other might recover its losses as both are come for festival season.

Producer Amit Mehra, son of late Prakash Mehra, says that Zanjeer remake will have a promotional song with Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan Teja featuring in it.

"Yes, we have a promotional song in the film which will be shot in January 2013. This is a special song with Priyanka and Ram Charan. But I want to clarify that we are not mixing any songs from the original version. It will be altogether a fresh song," said Amit Mehra, who is producing the film.

Being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Ram Charan Teja who will step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan for the remake. Priyanka will reprise Jaya Bachchan's role of Mala in the revenge drama.

The Zanjeer unit is all set to fly to Hyderabad for the next schedule.

"We have our next schedule from the mid of November in Hydrabad. It's a 20-day schedule. Later we will come back to Mumbai. We have one more schedule in Mumbai in December," said Amit.

Prakash Mehra had directed and produced the original Zanjeer and when it released in 1973, its stupendous success catapulted Amitabh Bachchan into stardom.

There were reports that Sanjay Dutt walked out of Zanjeer but Amit said: "Sanjay Dutt has always been our first choice. We are glad that he is part of our film. Initially, he had dates problem but now it's sorted and he is playing Sher Khan in the Hindi version and Sonu Sood will be playing Sher Khan in the Telugu version."

The film is expected to come out early next year.

The film rights to the Guntur area have sold for a record price of Rs .3.40 crore (all time record) to  Hari Movies. East Godavari rights by Ansuri and he bought the film Nayak for 2.85 cr (highest price for any film).

U.A. rights bought by  Kranthi Reddy for 4.2 crore, Nellore rights are  for 1.89 Cr shows the strength of Ram Charan at the box office. We must wait and see what this project is crazy buyers gain benefit or not.

Ram Charan wraps up Nayak’s Kolkata schedule

The cast and crew of mega powerstar Ram Charan-starrer Nayak has just wrapped up the Kolkata schedule. The unit, which began shooting action scenes at Chhotelal Ghat near the Mullickghat flower market and various other areas since a fortnight, has wrapped up the schedule and shall now return to Hyderabad. The next scehdule shall commence in Hyderabad.

Yesteryear super hit number 'Subhalekha Rasukunna' from megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer Kondaveeti Donga is being remixed in this film and the song was shot on Ram Charan and Amala Paul in Iceland.

And for the first time, Charan will be seen in a dual role in this film, which also has Kajal Agarwal. Thaman is composing the music while Chota K Naidu handles cinematography. Akula Shiva pens story and dialogues. Nayak is gearing for release on January 9, 2013.

Chiranjeevi to build a film studio in Vizag

With the Telangana agitation taking its toll on Telugu films, there are rumours that the industry might slowly shift its base to Vishakapatnam. Already Rama Naidu had a film studio here and reports suggest that there are several other studios going to crop up here soon. Actor turned politician Chiranjeevi is planning to build a film studio here. Minister Ghanta Srinivasa Rao is a partner in this venture.

The land acquisition for this studio is going on. Chiranjeevi had hired Engineers of International reputation to design the studio. The construction work will begin some time in 2013 and will take a minimum 3 years to complete.
